Crew West Marine Electronics Inc. was started thirty years ago here in the Southern California area. We carry a complete line of all brands of quality marine electronics, satellite t.v. and telephone systems, as well as hi-tech computer and a/v systems. In addition to all brands of electronics, we offer Sea Recovery Watermakers. Our conscientious sales and office team along with our expert team of field technicians exemplify a family business mentality: the customer’s needs are always the most important, and excellent service and skillful precision are paramount.

In his career, owner Bill Jahn has built boats, designed systems, and handled almost every aspect from overseeing the production of the molds to final sea trial and everything in between. This specialized experience gives us a “complete perspective” in each customer’s unique and specific needs. The Crew West perspective is far broader than the more typical and limited “remove and replace” mentality often seen in the industry. One of our specialties is the custom refit of sport-fishers, including complete wiring, design and application of electrical and electronic systems. We were recently mentioned in an article in Yachting Magazine for the complete re-fit of the Bertram 72’ “Good Bud”.

We have also been deeply involved in coordinating with local boat builders and brokers in numerous brand new boats. We see the project through the early phases of layouts and product recommendations to the sales and then finally the skillful installation of the electronics, electrical systems, satellite systems and state of the art a/v systems. Our name has been featured in many boating and fishing magazines for the work we’ve done on many of the beautiful new Cabo Yachts. It is our goal to provide each customer with exactly the products and services which are appropriate for their boat, their style of boating and their overall needs. As sport fishermen (and women) and pleasure boaters ourselves we have direct experience with the needs of the power-boater and sportfisherman. It is our ultimate goal to make our customer’s boating and fishing as pleasurable and as trouble free as possible, which requires a precisely and appropriately equipped boat to enjoy.
